Radio UPMC

UPMC plans to launch the first ever radio channel for the university. The vision of the channel is to promote activities done at the university. This project will focus on the courses offered, university life, student issues, helpful information for international students and a platform for teachers, students and employees of UPMC to share their thoughts on various topics.
For this project the university needs journalists, editors, radio presenters and administrators. Students who have good command over English and are motivated to be a part of this project are invited to send their CVs to Fabrice Picon fabrice.picon@upmc.fr and Anzar Khaliq anzarkhaliq@gmail.com
A meeting will be held in June.

  1. Hi every one!
I'm Stephanie Puig a firts year PhD student in Paris Descartes (I made my master in Jussieu).
I met Anzar last week and he told me about your project and I think it's a really great idea! I would like to try to help you and to find some ideas for the programs, right articles and maybe present programs... Do you have an idea about the first things that you want to do? What are the programs that you already decide to do?
I have some little things to purpose but don't know how to process and I would like to discuss with you to see if it's possible for me to make part of the project (especially because of the lack of time that i have, due to my lab work...)
Hope to meet you soon and again congraulations for this great idea.

  2. Hey steph,

i know its been long since we have talked about the project but there were some administrative hitches that were keeping the thing from being setup quickly,

auditions are coming now the 3rd and 8th of november in jussieu, from 18h to 19h30, at batiment S rdc- deuxieme bereau a droite.

The initial task is to make a small team of journalists and see how things shape up and we record a 2 minute news everyday as a starting point, this will give us an idea abt the team coordination and management. Bigger projects will soon follow.

    Anzar
